They Had Been Having The Same Argument For Weeks…

MarysScan

Date: 25.06.01 BC
Location: Nazareth General Hospital

It was the same argument.

They’ve had it for weeks.

It’s almost sweet, he’s not suggesting that she’s slept with someone else, he just doesn’t believe she’s pregnant.

It was his idea to have the scan early, he wanted to see how far she would carry this crazy story on. Why doesn’t she just say that if she doesn’t want to marry him?

But as he looked at the scan screen waiting for the answers, waiting to be proved right, Joe swallowed, and turned to his wife to be. Mary looked at his face, and knew Josephs world just blew wide open.

Its almost Christmas, so the Christmas flavor is increasing:

Weekly Round Up: The Obvious Christmas Edition

Hi, I’m Elvis. Elvis The Alien.

I’m one of the pets that sometimes sit on The Church when the two Andys arn’t looking.

Well seeing they are both doing Christmassy things they have left me in charge of the weekly roundup.

As its been hard to avoid Christmas stuff this week, I’m going to be predictable and keep with it…

  • Well… if you’ve had the BBC on during the last few evenings the chances are you’ve seen The Nativity on BBC1. I couldn’t help but love it, and thought the Tony Jordan interview with The Telegraph was an insight into the journey he went through while writing it. For a more traditional ‘media’ interview, it also worthwhile checking out the online press pack for The Nativity.
  • The Urban Pastor asks what does a Virgin Birth really mean?
  • Richard Littledale looks at a…rather odd themed Christmas service. Personally I’m not a fan, but as I’m an alien I dont really like food.
  • While finally… the mouse lets us see his letter to Santa

Well thats me done.

Sorry about the photo btw… I’m not sure if ThatAndy knew what he was doing when he took it…
