For those in Cornwall or Devon, its becoming harder to ignore that the G7 conference is about to begin.

To mark this, a group of young Christians from across Cornwall have written an open letter to World Leaders demanding climate justice ahead of the G7 summit.

Here’s a little about it.

The hope is to have 1,000 by G7, with the hope of reaching 5,000 names by the COP26 event in November. (So if you’re reading this after June – there’s still time to sign!)

You can find the open letter, which calls on the G7 countries to cut CO2 emissions to zero, end funding of fossil fuels and support the world’s poorest communities that have been affected by climate change here.
