August last year, I published a little post called Trump or Jesus? Which basically challenged people to try and tell the different between Donald Trump, and Jesus Christ.
With that in mind, I present the below…
Yes. He does say, “If Jesus Christ gets down of the cross and told me Trump was with Russia, I would tell him, hold on a second I need to check with the President if its true”.
At one point are we allowed to use words like “Cult of Trump”?
According to Televangelist Jim Bakker, any moves to impeach Donald Trump would lead to civil war in America.
“If it happens, there will be a civil war in the United States of America. The Christians will finally come out of the shadows because we are going to be shut up permanently if we’re not careful.”
How would a Christian led civil war work?
A number of Southern Baptist church choirs sang a song entitled “Make America Great Again” at a Donald Trump rally on Saturday, which appears to have been hosted by the First Baptist Dallas Church
“Make America Great Again,” was Trump’s campaign motto when he was campaigning to become President.
Personally I always thought that America was kinda great, except I’m now struggling with America needing a song about being great… AGAIN.
Can anyone explain why this song is a thing for me please?
(Update) This is now a CCLI Licensed Christian Worship Song, therefore this is part of the database of worship songs that people sing in Churches.
Does this mean that there are churches now singing “us more then other churches please Lord?” Isn’t the Church meant to be one family, not separated by different countries / languages etc?
UCB Radio here in the UK are asking how political churches should be, shouldn’t political opinions should begin with themes such as, the homeless, the hungry, and looking after the fatherless and the widow. But some would just call me a left leaning liberal, so what do I know?

Donald J. Trump addressing supporters at a 4th July event, where it seems that he got a big cheer when he said “We’re going to start saying Merry Christmas again.”
At what point did America stop saying Merry Christmas, and what does America say instead?
Interesting comments from Pat Robertson about Trump, and America… “America is the great hope of the world”:
So, lets face it. 2016 is an interesting year. With arguably negative political campaigns held on either side of the Atlantic, leading to negativity spilling out of the newspapers and impacting people in a real way. It feels like the world is leaving 2016 in a far more negative place then when it entered it.
I’m not going to write a full discourse looking at why this may be the case, instead I’m going to look at a few ideas of what could be done to improve matters. (There’s no way of phrasing the next sentence without being cheesy) How can we spread more love in 2016?
Read The Gruffalo…
Kids books are awesome, and the world needs more awesome. Try The Gruffalo for a flavour of awesome. Actually try anything from Julia Donaldson.
Volunteer For A Local Charity / Organization.
Because volunteers are awesome, and there’s probably something out there you’d like doing. (I personally know of opportunities to cook, and build lego.*) If nothing else, doing something good might help to improve your CV.
Write A Love Letter To A Stranger.
Like these guys…
Cook Your Neighbour A Meal.
Because who doesn’t love free food?
(Doesn’t have to look this nice)
Offer Free Hugs
Step 1. Order loads of these stickers from Amazon.
Step 2. PUT THEM EVERYWHERE!!!!
Any other suggestions you’d like to share?
*These are two separate volunteer positions, at different places. There isn’t a magical place where you cook AND play with lego…. I dont think.
America, welcome to (hopefully) the end of your election season. When you next rock up to church this Sunday, the question of who will be the next President of America will be resolved. We all know either Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump will be the next President, and we all know that someone at your church will have wanted the other one to win.
There may be a few people at church that could get upset this week if the wrong thing is said, to assist in avoiding accidental upset, Sofa has created this list of things NOT to talk about at Church this week.
It should fit in your wallet, so feel free to print off and take the above card with you!
Any other ideas?

How many do you reckon are totally unbiblical?
