Something For The Doll Fan In Your Life?

Are you looking for a Christmas gift to give your daughter / sister / niece / brother / local generic doll collector ?

How about this Virgin Mary Doll?

If you happen to be interested… it seems that “medalla milagrosa” means “Miraculous Medal”, from what I gather this doll has something to do with The Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. But I’m happy to be proved wrong.

VeggieTales is back with new songs, stories, and adventures

I’m having some emotional problems watching this over at, due to the adverts auto loading… so thought I would try embedding it here.

If this doesn’t work, please ignore and move along quietly…

A Quick Bible Study About Singing Stones

You know that weird bit in the Bible where Jesus says that thing about stones crying out, if his disciples were to stop worshipping?

This bit:

37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:

38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”[b]

“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”

40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

Luke 19

Ever wondered what stones would sound like if they worshipped Jesus?

Would they sound something like this?

The Prayer of a 5-year-old

While walking along the sidewalk in front of his church, our minister heard the intoning of a prayer that nearly made his collar wilt.

Apparently, his 5-year-old son and his playmates had found a dead robin. Feeling that proper burial should be performed, they had secured a small box and cotton batting, then dug a hole and made ready for the disposal of the deceased.

The minister’s son was chosen to say the appropriate prayers and with sonorous dignity intoned his version of what he thought his father always said: “Glory be unto the Father, and unto the Son, and into the hole he goes.”
